Hi, my name is Teppo Jouttenus and I am the Founder of Career Advice Services, LLC.
I love to build products, teams, and people. My greatest professional passion is to help others be the best builders they can be in their careers. I combine a rigorous scientific background with the scrappiness of several startup ventures to help you grow as an executive as fast as possible and with sustainable success.
I completed my PhD at MIT and executive education at Harvard University. I was part of the founding team at edX, an online education initiative founded by Harvard and MIT, where I served as a Senior Program Manager responsible for all the courses by the founding universities.
My next role was as the Director of Content Operations at Outlearn, a venture-backed tech startup acquired by Qwiklabs which in turn was acquired by Google. I also served as a Director of Product Management at Year Up, a national non-profit with an annual operating budget of over $170M that has helped 45,000+ students from disadvantaged backgrounds launch successful careers.
Before launching Career Advice Services, I was the Chief Innovation Officer and founding VP for Academic Affairs at Kepler College, a career-focused Bachelor's degree granting institution in Rwanda which is serving students throughout Africa.
